Nerea Sebastian and Alenka Mertelj from JSI participated in the Humboldt Colloquium titled “Research Collaborations in Transition – Opportunities and Challenges for the Humboldt Network”, held in Rome from 21 to 23 September 2023. The event brought together approximately 300 researchers from Italy, Slovenia, Austria, Germany, and Switzerland to discuss the evolving landscape of international scientific collaboration amid global challenges such as digitalisation, climate change, and threats to academic freedom.
During the colloquium, Sebastian and Mertelj presented the MAGNELIQ project, contributing to discussions on fostering resilient and innovative research partnerships. The event provided a valuable platform for networking and exchanging ideas within the Humboldt Network.
